Airport terminal subway station

The station's design was created to extend the main terminal's architecture and materials. A sculptural system of curvilinear ceiling panels evokes images of flight and movement.

The project used smooth-faced corbelled precast concrete wall panels along with architectural wall panels in varying heights, as well as solid roof panels.

All of the panels were arched with an approximate 50-foot radius. Due to the varying heights, a custom arched wall-panel form was created with a formliner that created the limestone appearance for the panels.
