Faced with the high cost of brick on tall gymnasium walls, architectural precast concrete became the architects solution. The panels were prefabricated during site preparation which helped compress the construction schedule, thus reducing the interim financing cost and allowing quicker occupancy. Additionally the precast concrete gymnasium provided storage and security for materials on site.
